Our vision and mission

To develop and provide a consistent, reliable, and fair methodology for quantitative assessment of environmental and social aspects based on scientific life cycle thinking and to promote understanding of this methodology among various stakeholders.

In developing the methodology, we will deepen interactive discussions among stakeholders, including financial institutions, on the visualization of environmental impacts, including GHG emissions, considering the life cycle and value chain, and organize appropriate quantitative evaluation methods.

The LCA database “IDEA: Inventory Database for Environmental Analysis” will be developed to enable quantitative evaluation methods, and the infrastructure for evaluation (corporate evaluation tools, databases, etc.) will be maintained and updated for the realization of a sustainable society.
